Hey folks. Took a bit of a break there, but I'm still here, stubbornly. :)

Bit of a more general discussion topic today. If you had just one piece of Star Trek canon--any series, but only one episode or movie or book--to convince someone to give the rest of the Trek a try, which one would it be?

Not the best, not your favorite, but the one you think has the best chance of making someone want to watch more.

 What do the guys like best about being on a planet? Something not limited to shore leave -- something that's true on every planet. Or, at least, every M class planet.

According to <i>Beyond</i>, the Beastie Boys counts as classical music in the future. While this is hilarious, it also makes me wonder how other music is categorized, and what the preferences of AOS!Bones and the TOS characters are. Do they like genres we know? Are those genres called the same things? Or are there new types of music that they prefer?

Hey folks! Sorry I missed last week's Off Topic Post. I took a couple days off my checklist because I was exhausted.

And although I wasn't actually procrastinating, let's take that as inspiration anyway. What's the one thing that Jim and Bones hate doing so much they'll avoid it until it becomes an actual problem? Personal or professional.

My sense of time is all wacky with Christmas vacation, but my to do spreadsheet doesn't let me down in reminding me about the Off Topic Post!
